thanks, I'll give it a try ^_^
great
you should try duets, like acda en de munnik, it'd go great with the style, but its not that easy to realise

it sounds very mechanical, you should work with other elements like change of pace, velocity and breakdowns.
one can really hear your inexperience, but its okay, im sure youll get better!
for now, just for the sake of realism, slow it down, you can speed up later in the song. also reconcider the velocity of each individual key and their overal relation..
apart from the simplicity its arranged pretty good..
Want to help me write a break down? pm me :p
Any ways, did those thigs with the tempo and velocities. kinda though.
Thats the sorta review that helps, thank u.

holy shit this is some great stuff! so dynamic, swiching elements, yet so much structure! i love it!
Thanks man, I wanted to combine the tritone and the harmonic minor with the augmented 4th as much as possible, since they both fit the theme I was trying to express as much as possible.
Thanks for the review!
this bar is a waste of space..
Its a great song! You could mess around with your percussion range, it was pretty stale.. Besides that and some effects that could be polished, its awesome ^^
great piece of art!
ok i'll see in a next version that could come online! :D
i'll keep it in mind! :p
thank you !
does anyone really read the summary anymore?
this is really good, i couldnt possibly be the better when it comes to symphonys.. well, get ready for some mercyless ass-whooping critique!
This song has it all, but one thing; with so many high octaves and the whole tension thing going on, the score lacks depth, with which i mean a 'breakdown' section with a dominant low(er) octave, to balance out all the high notes and fast pacing..
the rest is just.. great! i must admit though that the japanese flute thingy(dont know the name of it) could be edited later in the score without the pitch shift attack to it.. thats a personal thing though, dont mind it, i just felt like pointing it out.
also, the drums/perc patterns are just perfect! it gives this rugged feel without directly resorting to the original classical scoring.
job well done!
I fiddled with a "bass line" for this song for quite some time... I was hoping the faint timpani drum roll at the beginning, the deep horns, and the bass kick were going to cover it up enough, but you saw right through that!
As far as the japan flute goes, I also sort of debated about that, but opted to keep it a little whiney, I guess to appease to a wider genre of game, if need be. Sort of reminds me of the Cosymo Canyon theme :).
I'm glad you liked my song, I keep asking you to review my work, cause I love your reviews, and respect you and your work as a composer.
Regards,
merlin

nice, too bad the intro is too long/slow, its probably the reason your score is so low.. It seems people hear dont really take the trouble to accually listen to the entire song..
anyhoo, youve a great electric guitar, is it a synth or a recorded guitar?
Synth guitar. It's one of the preprogrammed sounds that my editing program had in it. I went with a clean electric guitar for the main base line, and added the distorted electric guitar later for the harmony. I guess if I had separated the song into 2 parts, it would have been more catchy (which I don't concern myself with being catchy, and obviously, I need to change that). Not much I can do about getting people to listen to the whole song up front.

its okay, but it needs dynamics, spunk, fire.. its too repetitive and stagnant..
I do like the range of chords you used, and the variation of instruments.
what lacks, percussion, beat, and a breakdown
good luck!
I'll make sure my next one has spunk pouring out of its ears, assuming that my music is a living creature. I tried adding that around the more louder parts. Next time I'll try add a percussion solo (Other then the shoddy one at 1:41-1:43).
If there's anything you could tell me about making it more spunky, feel free to PM me some tips!

well, it does have some jazzy elements, but id just throw it in miscellaneous if your not sure, it doesnt really matter anyhoo..
about the song, very nice, but even slayer can do better then that, you can tweak it so it gets cleaner :) if you still lack a microphone, try cuttermusic revitar 2.0, its the best (acoustic) guitar i know, but a decent electric one has yet to be made imo..
nice beats, i like the moog and piano the best..
good job.
Oi, I will make sure I check out that Revitar 2.0, it sounds like it might be good.
Thanks for the review and I'm glad you liked!
